Caridad Franco Vega
I am a certified Home Care Worker in Oregon, with extensive experience caring for young children and children with special educational needs. I work by providing support in all of the children's daily activities, including feeding, hygiene, play, outings, and educational development, creating a safe, stimulating , and positive environment.
I hold certifications in First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and defibrillator use, as well as specialized courses in Carewell SEIU 503 and Better Kid Care, which support my professional training.
My background also includes a solid academic background in journalism and the arts, with 34 years of professional experience in Cuba as a TV editor and reporter. This has allowed me to develop effective communication, active listening, and mentoring skills, which I apply to childcare, as well as a deep understanding of Latin culture and general knowledge of North American culture.
I consider myself a compassionate, patient, and humorous person, committed to the well-being and comprehensive development of the children in my care, and always willing to work closely with parents to ensure the best possible educational and care experience.
